Our educators are as diverse as the learners who attend the school. Staff are dedicated, well qualified and always lead by example.  We believe that learners can only learn as well as the surrounding that they are in.  In this setting children from many backgrounds will be able to identify with their caretakers as role models.  

At Twinkle Stars we envision for our children to become active participants in, and shapers of their worlds and to grow cognitively, socially, emotionally and globally through child based, teacher mediated learning.

 

 

We believe that children are capable of learning from a very young age and our baby routine includes educational time, they follow an educational program to stimulate them on a daily basis.  Our bigger children follow programs bases on the CAPS curriculum.   Our four to five as well as grade R classes follow the CAPS curriculum.  Our main target is to eventually prepare children for grade one at one of the English Medium Primary Schools.   One of our biggest problems in young children is the language barrier as English is not the first language to most of them.  We want to cultivate a love for learning by celebrating life.  We want to provide opportunity for wonder, discovery and creativity for every learner as this is how children learn best.   Teaching children the importance of meaningful relationship with other children and family can help them to resolves negative situations positively.   We do not only educate learners but also parents, we lead by example and for that reason we pursue excellence in everything we do.
